Please ensure you retain your original invoice for the claims process.

Tiger Wheel & Tyre proudly stocks and sells a wide range of leading tyre brands, each representing their own tyre manufacturer warranty. This warranty would include elements such as, the number of years a tyre is covered for manufacturing defects and will indicate if the warranty is valid from date of manufacture or date of sale, as this may differ for each brand. The warranties are for passenger cars, vans and light truck tyres.

Damages or impairments that are NOT covered by the manufacturer’s warranty:

  • Damage that occurred as a result of using the tyre for any other reason than for which it was designed.
  • Road hazard injuries or damages caused by obstacles or debris, such as cuts, punctures (whether repairable or not), snags, bruises, tears, abrasions or impact breaks.
  • Improper repairs or repairs that have failed.
  • Improper inflation or other maintenance abuse or neglect.
  • Improper application of the tyre size and/or specification.
  • Improper mounting/dismounting procedures or tyre assembly balance.
  • Mechanical irregularities in the vehicle or wheel, such as bent wheel assemblies, misalignment, defective brakes, defective shock absorbers, worn or faulty components.
  • Accident, corrosion, vandalism, fire or damage caused by nature.
  • The use of fillers, sealants, balancing substances and external treatments or materials of any kind.
  • Tyres with ride disturbance complaints that have more than 1mm treadwear.
  • Tyres transferred from the original vehicle on which they were originally installed.
  • Tyres that have been re-treaded, re-grooved or not repaired in an approved manner.
  • Tyres which have been modified by the addition or removal of material or any tyre intentionally altered to change its appearance.

Even the most affordable and reliable of car batteries eventually run out of juice. Make sure yours is checked regularly by the professionals. We recommend duCELLIER batteries that offer a 24-month warranty; and Sabat automotive batteries that offer a 30-month warranty.

Your claim will NOT be fulfilled under the following circumstances:

  • The battery is out of the warranty period.
  • The battery was incorrectly fitted, reversed charged or not strapped down.
  • The battery that was fitted in the vehicle, was not the correct fitment for the specific vehicle.
  • The battery was fully charged and does not test faulty when using the correct parameters and standards or if the battery was not fully charged and the incorrect testing procedures were applied.
  • The battery shows signs of abuse, e.g. casing, lid, or terminal damage.
  • The vehicle charge rate was tested and found to be outside the parameters of 13,8 Volts to 14,2 Volts (refer to the below chart).
  • If the battery was not managed properly by the customer, e.g. the vehicle was parked for a long period of time.

To avoid unnecessary wear on your tyres, steering, suspension and brakes, it is essential to maintain proper wheel alignment. Furthermore, correct alignment optimises driving stability, maximises tyre life and improves your vehicle’s overall handling and performance.

Weight distribution, road conditions and tread wear may cause your vehicle to vibrate or shake when in use. Correct wheel balancing results in a smoother ride and a more even tread wear – prolonging the life of your tyres.
